Roger Taylor on Question of Pop 2000
This is my first time sharing something here...I hope you enjoy it! I've already shared this on my journal, but thought a few more people would get to see it if I posted it here. It's a video of Roger on a quiz show in 2000. There's a very amusing thing that happens near the end of the show, but I won't spoil the surprise. ;) The show is about half an hour long, and the total file size is 151 MB.
I've got more quiz shows with Roger, (and even one with John) and lots more Queenie things to share, so if you're looking for something just ask! :D

I own all of Queen’s Album Cds now.
Unfortunately, that means I’ve still missed out on getting some of the rare B-sides which include: “Lost Opportunity”,
“Soul Brother”, “Earth”, and “A Human Body”. There are probably others I don’t know about as well.
If anyone has any of the rare B-sides I’d be very grateful if you could share them.
I was able to get “Hijack My Heart” from limewire, so I don't need that. Current Mood: hopeful

A treat for Freddie's birthday...
As today would have been Freddie's 59th birthday I have posted up the following on "Rapidshare" as a little treat for you all:http://rapidshare.de/files/4758346/Queen_-_Somebody_To_Love__Live_.wma.html
It's a live version of "Somebody To Love" - Freddie's favourite Queen song, apparently... It was recorded at the famous "Concert For Kampuchea" at the Hammersmith Odeon in London sometime in December 1979 (I think it may have been 26th December, but I'm not entirely sure off the top of my head...) Anyway enjoy!
Best wishes, as always,

Crazy Little Thing... Live Footage
Hello again folks, hope you're all well. I've got some video footage of Queen performing "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" to share with you all today. I have absolutely no idea where this comes from - it looks like rehearsal footage to me (but then I could be wrong...) Anyway, it's quite interesting, and it's something that I had never seen before - hopefully it'll be new to you too... Obviously with it being video footage the file is a lot bigger and will probably take a little while to download, but hopefully it'll be worth it. :o/http://rapidshare.de/files/4041103/CrazyLittleThing_-_Live_Performance.mpg.html
Best wishes, as always,
Louise. :o) Current Mood: optimistic

Some earlyyyy songs.
I bought a CD called 'Pre ordained' a while ago. I have to admit, I'm not actually sure how authentic some of these songs are. Some are definitely Smile, and some are just different versions of later releases. Yousendit is being pissy, so I only managed to get five tracks up. The quality isn't exactly great, but it's interesting, even if I'm not sure exactly who's playing or who's singing in some of these songs.
The Day The Talkies Came
Tear Down The Walls
Step On Me
I've Been To Hell And Back
I'm fairly certain nerdork will be posting a lot of her Smile stuff, so I tried to avoid uploading what I knew she already had. If anyone wants me to try and upload another song from the CD, though, I'll give it a shot! Current Mood: accomplished
As I have quite a few "Queeny" goodies to share with you all, I'm just checking to see if I can indeed post to this community. If I've done everything correctly (and there's no guarantee that I have as I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to computers really...) you should be able to download an early live version of "Liar", which was recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 1 at the Golder's Green Hippodrome on 13th August 1973. Lauren already knows about this gig as I uploaded a version of "Father To Son" from it, via "yousendit", for her to hear a week or so ago... :o)
If you so desire I can upload the rest of the songs that were broadcast from this gig (there are 9 in total).
Fingers crossed this has worked...http://rapidshare.de/files/3964814/7._Queen_-_Liar__Live_Golder_s_Green.wma.html
Should you be new to "Rapid Share" to access these files you need to click on the link and then scroll down to the bottom of the page, clicking “Free” (for free account) – you should then be allotted a download ticket (takes about 30 seconds or so) – after that you should be able to download the song by clicking on the link (again situated at the bottom of the page) that pops up … I hope… :o/
Incidentally, with free "Rapid Share" accounts you can only download so many MBs an hour, so you may not be able to download everything in one go should I upload the rest of the gig...
Best wishes to you all,
Louise. :o) Current Mood: hopeful
